Our continued growth has created an opportunity for a Weatherization / Insulation Technician to join our team. In this hands-on role, you’ll install insulation and energy-efficiency improvements that make a noticeable difference in how customers’ homes feel and perform.
This is more than a general labor position. It’s an opportunity to learn a skilled trade, receive paid training, work with modern equipment, and build a long-term career with a growing home services company. Motivated team members can advance into HVAC installation, HVAC service, and other skilled roles with training and support provided.
No insulation experience? That’s okay. If you’re dependable, comfortable working with your hands, and ready to learn, we’ll help you build the skills needed to succeed.
What You’ll Do
- Install residential insulation, including blown-in attic insulation and batt insulation.
- Prepare jobsites and protect customers’ homes before beginning work.
- Measure, cut, and install insulation according to company and manufacturer standards.
- Operate insulation equipment, tools, and related machinery safely and efficiently.
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites.
- Explain the work being performed to homeowners in a clear and courteous manner.
- Load, unload, and organize insulation materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Maintain clean and organized company vehicles.
- Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and policies.
- Participate in paid technical, safety, and professional development training.
What We’re Looking For
- Insulation, construction, HVAC, roofing, warehouse, or general labor experience is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to learn; paid training is provided.
- Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and other confined areas.
- Ability to perform physical work and lift insulation materials and equipment.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Professional attitude and respect for customers and their homes.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
