Forging Press Operator - Weekend Day Shift

We are looking for a talented Forging Press Operator to join our Weekend Day Shift team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Morristown, TN .

Job Summary

Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

• Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
• The Forging Press operator will be responsible for setting up and operating a forging press.
• Must be able to stand on their feet 12 hours per day in a fast-paced production environment.
• This position requires all safety policies and procedures to be followed as well as following Cummins company policies.
• Candidates must be able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis.

• These 5 positions will be for day shift, Weekend A. These positions will be required to work 12 hours per day Friday through Sunday.
• Base Rate: $20.51 - $23.75/hr
