Job Responsibilities
- Inspect parts visually for defects
- Perform visual and gauge inspections to specification
- Package and label products as directed in WI
- Trim all parts that need to be trimmed
- Keep cell or line assign to him/her clean at all times to ensure the safety of the plant
- Identify, dispose, and label scrap
- Report all problems with the product to technicians or supervisor
- Operate equipment used in the Molding area such as the band saw and pneumatic cutter
- If the machine stop working notify technician
- Follow all safety procedures and report any safety problems to the supervisor immediately, as well as using 5s guidelines established for the department
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Involvement in our continuous improvement and safety initiatives
- Communicate when uncertain of parts that may need to be scraped by contacting a supervisor or Q A technician to inspect the product
- Supports the established Quality policy
- Fulfills the role as required in the documented quality system manual, directives and work instruction

Knowledge & Skill Requirements
This position should possess the following skills/knowledge
- High school graduate, GED or equivalent
- 6 months of manufacturing experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. standing/walking up to 12 hours per day
- Ability to read and write English clearly and concisely.
- Ability to regulate a steady pace to meet production needs
- Must have the capability to correctly identify the different materials and product
- Ability to drive a forklift to move material as needed
- Must be able to work with minimum direction after being trained

Physical Requirements
- Walking – frequently up to 12 hrs
- Standing – up to 12 hrs
- Climbing – occasionally

- Lifting - up to 40# frequently
- Lifting – 50# to 75# with assisted apparatus (overhead crane/forklift)
Safety Requirements
- The employee is responsible to comply with all company and government safety regulations and procedures.
