We partner closely with Marketing, Ecommerce, Merchandising, Brand, and Retail teams to create engaging creative that inspires customers and supports business goals. About the Role
The Manager, Site Creative leads the design and execution of site creative across landing pages, merchandising experiences, promotional campaigns, and UX enhancements for the Rejuvenation website. This player/coach role spends approximately 60% of time designing while managing a team of Web Designers, partnering closely with Ecommerce, Merchandising, and Marketing to translate business objectives into user-centered experiences that drive discoverability, confidence, and conversion. This role reports to the Director of Creative.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of site creative across landing pages, merchandising experiences, promotional campaigns, and UX enhancements.
- Personally design high-quality site and UX designs while providing creative direction and guidance to a team of Web Designers.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Web Designers through regular feedback, creative reviews, prioritization, and career development.
- Partner closely with Web Merchandising, Site Operations, Marketing, and Technology and Development teams to translate business objectives and campaign briefs into effective, user-centered design solutions.
- Guide the creation of wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that communicate interaction patterns and design intent across the team.
- Apply and champion UX best practices, including accessibility, information hierarchy, and usability principles, to improve the customer experience.
- Partner with developers during implementation by reviewing work in development and test environments, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring the final experience aligns with design intent, usability standards, and brand quality.
- Create, maintain, and evolve site design systems, templates, and component libraries that improve consistency and efficiency across the digital ecosystem.
- Review and approve creative files to ensure accuracy, quality, and brand consistency before final delivery.
- Participate in and guide user research, usability testing, and design reviews to validate and refine solutions.
- Use customer feedback, analytics, and business insights to iterate and improve digital experiences, partnering with Marketing and Ecommerce to optimize site creative.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure projects are delivered accurately, on time, and aligned with business priorities.
- Stay current on ecommerce best practices, accessibility standards, and emerging design technologies to continuously improve the customer experience.
Criteria
- 5+ years of professional design experience in digital or UX environments, preferably within ecommerce, retail, or direct-to-consumer.
- Experience designing digital experiences across landing pages, merchandising content, promotional campaigns, and UX enhancements.
- Previous experience leading or mentoring designers, with demonstrated success managing creative workflow and providing feedback.
- Strong portfolio showcasing UX design, wireframes, prototypes, digital design, typography, layout, and visual storytelling.
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, XD); working knowledge of HTML.
- Strong understanding of UX best practices, including accessibility, responsive design, and cross-browser functionality.
- Experience creating and maintaining design systems, component libraries, and templates across a digital ecosystem.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to balance hands-on design work with people leadership and cross-functional partnership.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
