About the Role

ElevateMe is seeking a passionate and proactive

Junior Career Coach

to support students throughout their career development journey. The role will focus on student onboarding, resume and LinkedIn reviews, interview preparation, and ongoing career coaching.

The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in

career coaching, student success, recruitment, talent acquisition, training, or mentoring

and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the onboarding of new students and guide them through the Career Services process.
  • Conduct one-on-one and group coaching sessions.
  • Review resumes and provide clear, actionable feedback.
  • Help students tailor resumes to relevant job descriptions and improve ATS alignment.
  • Provide guidance on LinkedIn optimization and professional branding.
  • Conduct mock interviews and support behavioral and screening interview preparation.
  • Help students develop STAR stories, elevator pitches, and effective self-introductions.
  • Provide constructive feedback on communication, confidence, clarity, and answer structure.
  • Track student progress, follow up on action items, and maintain coaching records.
  • Support career workshops, group coaching sessions, and office hours.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth student experience.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience
  • in career coaching, student success, recruitment, talent acquisition, HR, training, mentoring, or a similar role.
  • Experience working with
  • students, job seekers, or early-career professionals
  • is preferred.

Experience with

  • resume reviews, LinkedIn optimization, and interview preparation
  • is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of behavioral interviews and the
  • STAR method
  • .
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, active listening, and feedback skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and provide supportive yet constructive guidance.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the U.S. job market and hiring process.
  • Experience supporting international students or job seekers.
  • Familiarity with ATS-friendly resumes and job description tailoring.
  • Experience conducting mock interviews or training sessions.

Important: US Shift Requirement

  • This role requires the candidate to work
  • full-time from 06:30 PM to 03:30 AM IST

  • Applicants must be comfortable and available to work consistently during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
