About The Role

Your role, your impact

As an Oracle Fusion Payroll Functional Consultant, you’ll play a critical role in delivering end-to-end Payroll solutions, specifically for North America (US) payrolls. You’ll leverage your deep functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Payroll to configure, implement, and support payroll processes, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency. Your ability to translate complex payroll requirements into system configurations and troubleshoot issues will directly impact successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

Your day-to-day

  • Configure and manage Oracle Fusion Payroll components including Elements, Element Eligibility, Payroll Definitions, and Payroll Flows;
  • Design and develop Payroll Fast Formulas to support complex payroll calculations and business rules;
  • Configure and manage payroll processes including Retro Pay and Costing;
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather payroll requirements and translate them into system configurations;
  • Conduct prototype/demo sessions with clients, gather feedback, and incorporate changes into the solution;
  • Perform payroll data conversions using HDL/HSDL, including Payroll Balance conversions;
  • Develop and customize payslip and check templates, and create payroll reports using BI Publisher (BIP) and OTBI;
  • Troubleshoot payroll issues, analyze root causes, and provide effective functional solutions;
  • Support end-to-end testing activities, including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and payroll parallel runs;
  • Provide post-go-live support, ensure smooth payroll operations, and work independently to deliver payroll configurations and enhancements.

Keys to your success

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll implementations, specifically for North America (US payroll);
  • Strong hands-on experience configuring Oracle Fusion Payroll, including Elements, Eligibility, Payroll Flows, Fast Formulas, Payroll Retro processing and Costing configurations;
  • Experience in Payroll data migration using HDL/HSDL, Payroll Balance conversions, BI Publisher (BIP), OTBI reporting, payslip and check template configuration, and payroll testing activities, including SIT, UAT, and Payroll Parallel testing;
  • Strong experience in requirement gathering, business process analysis, and solution design;
  • Ability to work independently and directly with clients;
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Extra edge

  • Experience working in global implementation environments;
  • Exposure to other Oracle Fusion HCM modules;
  • Understanding of end-to-end HCM integrations and reporting.
