About The Role

Able to read construction drawings and plans
Assist the Rockworks Supervisor in the manpower distribution
Monitor actual operator/equipment production for each type of work
Able to decide the right equipment for each type of work
Monitor actual machine hours and fuel consumption
Able to lead a team and produce good workmanship
Understand rock gradation and specification Understand GPS or bucket positioning system
Good background in equipment management
Able to write daily progress report
Understand barge loading and off loading of rocks
Ability to determine forecast activities and plan accordingly
Able to determine future problem in an early stage
Identify hazards
Obtain information from HSE Department
Make recommendations to HSE Department
Investigate Incidents
Able to manage personnel with different cultural backgrounds
Motivate and inspire colleagues to develop knowledge, skills and competencies. Provide objective and constructive feedback in an appropriate way
Stimulate a result-oriented organizational culture by regularly sharing the division's performance and results
Take ownership of own objectives agreed upon and of the objectives of the division
Proactively serve and constructively respond to external client needs in order to meet business priorities

Communicate clearly and succinctly orally and in writing. Adapt oral and written communication style to the audience
Secondary School Certificate with a discipline specific technical certification or equivalent
Minimum 6 years of experience in rockwork and similar industry
