• Sunshine Coast Radiology (SCR) is looking for enthusiastic and professional Medical Receptionists to join our growing teams across the Sunshine Coast.

• With 13 clinics Spanning the Sunshine Coast , we offer opportunities to work in desirable locations and clinical environments, supported by experienced and friendly teams.

About the Role

As a Medical Receptionist, you’ll be an important part of the patient journey and the wider clinical team.

Your day will include

• Welcoming patients and providing friendly, professional service
• Managing appointments, bookings and patient enquiries
• Answering phones and responding to patient queries
• Processing accounts, Medicare and private health claims
• Supporting Radiologists, Sonographers and Radiographers
• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient information
• Liaising with patients, referrers and medical practices
• Assisting with the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice
• Participating in team meetings, training and ongoing development

About You

We’re looking for people who are

• Friendly, approachable and genuinely enjoy helping others
• Confident communicating with patients and healthcare professionals
• Organised, reliable and able to multitask
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Professional and respectful when handling confidential information
• A team player who is willing to learn and support others
• Previous medical reception or healthcare experience is highly regarded, but we’re also open to candidates with strong customer service and administration experience.
