As a Residential Interior Designer, you will help turn client goals into clear, buildable design solutions. The role combines creativity, client guidance, and close collaboration with internal teams and vendors, making it well suited to someone who enjoys balancing design vision with day-to-day project coordination across multiple remodeling projects.
Responsibilities
- Meet clients to understand design goals, style preferences, and project budgets.
- Develop space plans and design concepts for kitchens, bathrooms, and full-home remodels.
- Guide clients through cabinetry, tile, flooring, lighting, and finish selections.
- Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and field teams to ensure buildable designs.
- Create mood boards, renderings, and finish schedules while managing multiple deadlines.
- 5 years of experience in residential remodeling design, including kitchens, bathrooms, and full-home remodeling projects.
- Background in interior design or a related field, with strong knowledge of residential space planning.
- Knowledge of cabinetry, materials, and finishes for residential remodeling.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Chief Architect, or similar design software.
- Experience leading client design meetings, presenting design concepts and mood boards, and delivering client presentations.
- Experience guiding clients through finish selections, creating professional renderings, and coordinating with project managers and vendors.
- Experience managing multiple design projects at the same time.
