Principal Engineer, Product

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Transfer products/process/technology from oversea and implement in Vietnam.
• Fully understand current process capability. Develop, improve processes simply, reliably, efficiently. Reduce process variance. Ensure product yield achieve target
• Saving cost by continual optimize and improve processing method, material, tooling, consumable etc.
• Develop new process technique. Extend process capability. Capture new part order.
• Technical problem handling and support for internal and external customer

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or sciences. The following specialisations in Engineering or Sciences are preferred: Mechanical Engineering; Mechatronics Engineering; Chemical Engineering; Material Sciences; Materials Engineering and other relevant specialisations with the job.
• Master’s degree or higher is a plus.
• Typically requires a minimum of 9 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in optical industry or mechanical industry is a plus

Working Conditions

• English communication is compulsory. Chinese is a plus.

• Ability to use CAD software to help in simple tools, fixture design.
• Have Knowledge of ISO 9001, FMEA, SPC and other statistical methods is a plus
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools is an advantage.
