DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sports & Community Marketing
  • Build and execute sports and community programs, including race activations, product trial initiatives, workshops, and brand events aligned with the marketing and race calendar.
  • Identify opportunities to grow visibility and engagement within running and athletic-lifestyle communities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with race organizers, athletes, run clubs, grassroots communities, sports media, and brand partners.
  • Coordinate with agency partners on campaign and event execution, including production, logistics, timelines, and on-site operations.
  • Ensure community and race activations are amplified through strong storytelling on digital and social channels.

  • Athlete & Sports Marketing Strategy
  • Support development and execution of HOKA’s athlete and sports marketing strategy in Hong Kong and Macau.
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to assess, structure, and evolve the athlete portfolio, tiering, and ecosystem.
  • Manage day-to-day servicing of athletes and affiliates, including communication, product coordination, race support, and activation planning.
  • Track athlete performance, race participation, and milestones, preparing updates and reports for stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of athlete servicing, product allocation, contractual deliverables, and engagement activities.
  • Support athlete communication planning in collaboration with internal teams and agency partners.
  • Coordinating and compiling marketing performance recaps and post-campaign reports
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, new tools, and best practices to help improve campaign performance and measurement

  • Product Seeding & Inventory Coordination
  • Execute product seeding initiatives across athletes, community partners, media, creators, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain and manage the master seeding list, ensuring alignment with marketing priorities.
  • Coordinate seeding logistics, inventory tracking, forecasting, and delivery timelines in collaboration with internal teams.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration & Operations
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Merchandising, Sales, and global Sports Marketing teams to ensure alignment across initiatives.
  • Share product feedback, athlete insights, and market intelligence with internal stakeholders.
  • Assist the Marketing Manager in budget planning and invoice management.
  • Prepare clipping reports, athlete updates, and activation recaps for stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

Year(s) of Experience & Background Required

  • University degree or above.
  • 5+ years of experience in sports marketing, brand marketing, community management, PR, or event management.
  • Proven experience managing external stakeholders (athletes, agencies, communities, partners, media).
  • Strong project and time management skills, able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined in execution.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Experience in running races, endurance sports, or sports communities preferred.
  • Existing network within running/sports/athletic-lifestyle industry is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in Cantonese and English; Mandarin is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel overseas as required.
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese (written and spoken); Mandarin a plus.

Functional & Technical Competencies

  • Hands-on involvement in race activations, athlete servicing, and grassroots community programs.
  • Familiarity with seeding logistics, inventory management, and partnership activations.
  • Experience amplifying sports/community initiatives through digital and social storytelling.
