About The Role

Join ESR Group, a leading Asia-Pacific real asset manager focused on New Economy sectors, including logistics, data centres, and infrastructure and renewables.

We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Contracts Administrator to join our Development team. This role offers the opportunity to support the successful delivery of major industrial, logistics and commercial development projects, working closely with Development, Project Management, Legal and external contractor teams. You will play a key role in contract administration, commercial management, tendering, procurement and project coordination, helping to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and in accordance with ESR's contractual and commercial objectives.

This role offers the opportunity to

  • Manage contract administration and commercial activities across development projects, ensuring compliance and successful project delivery.
  • Provide commercial support on client and contractor contracts, including claims, variations, extensions of time and contractual correspondence.
  • Administer upstream and downstream contracts, identifying and mitigating commercial and contractual risks.
  • Maintain project documentation, reports, registers, meeting minutes and contract records to support project governance.
  • Coordinate tendering, procurement, consultant and contractor agreements, payment claims and project approvals.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following skills, experience and approach

  • Degree-qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, Property or a related discipline.
  • Experience within a Tier 1 contractor environment, undertaking contract administration, project coordination or commercial management responsibilities
  • Strong understanding of contract management, procurement, claims, variations and commercial risk management with the ability to independently produce a full cost report
  • Knowledge of engineering and building principles, construction documentation, the Building Code of Australia and development delivery processes.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
