Senior Marketing Intelligence Strategist
ZINC Zillow, Inc. · Remote, United States
About The Role
About the team
Zillow Group is seeking a Senior Marketing Intelligence Strategist to join our Marketing Strategy & Planning team. This is a strategic, consultative role: responsible for determining what intelligence products marketing leaders and teams need to make better decisions, then bringing those products to life. Products can range from automated dashboards to custom, AI-enabled analytical solutions.
This requires deep engagement with marketing stakeholders to understand how decisions are actually made today, identifying where better data would change behavior, and shaping the right solutions.
The scope will span intelligence products across several marketing domains, including paid and owned media, so the ability to build credibility and develop informed points of view quickly in new areas is essential.
About the role
Define the vision : For each marketing domain, leading with a strong point of view on what the end-state intelligence product should be, informed by stakeholder input and an understanding of today’s gaps, and building a strategic case for what to build, for whom, and why
Strategic thought partner to marketing leaders : Pressure-testing what stakeholders think they need, challenging assumptions, and aligning on the intelligence investments that will have the greatest impact on decisions and outcomes
Translate strategy into specs : Outlining mockups, data requirements, and prioritized feature sets with enough detail for BI analysts to build from, prototyping and validating concepts using available data and tools before committing to full builds
Drive adoption post-launch : Monitoring usage, diagnosing where adoption stalls, and iterating on products until they are embedded in day-to-day workflows
Incorporate AI capabilities : Defining AI-related needs where they make products more actionable such as automated insight surfacing, anomaly detection, or natural language interaction
