About The Role

In this role, you will impact the manufacturing efficiency and product quality by accurately producing precision parts, maintaining equipment, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the machining department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set up and operate CNC and manual machine tools to produce precision parts according to specifications and blueprints.
  • Perform quality inspections and measurements to ensure parts meet required tolerances and standards.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal operation.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Proven experience operating and programming CNC machines as well as manual machining tools.
  • Strong knowledge of precision measuring instruments and ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
  • Experience with machining materials such as metals and composites, ensuring adherence to tight tolerances and quality standards.
  • Ability to troubleshoot machining processes and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime.

WE VALUE

  • Technical or vocational training in machining or manufacturing technology.
  • 3+ years of experience in a machining role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with CNC programming languages and software.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
