Right now the company is experiencing exciting growth across the country and we are looking for a smart and energised Senior Project Manager to join our team.

Based in Amberley, Qld, this Senior Project Manager position will perform the role of Capability Integration Manager as part of the project management unit within the Mobile Threat Training Emitter System (MTTES) Program, delivering Electronic Warfare training to the Australian Defence Force.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to

  • Program and Project Management using Agile methodology for the integration of new capabilities and capability enhancements to the MTTES, both of a technical and non-technical nature.
  • Prioritise and manage concurrent bodies of work using shared resources and with at times competing priorities.
  • Manage the program baselines and change process for the Program Director, including managing and coaching junior Project Managers and Project Officers in the process.
  • Manage working relationships with internal and external customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Limited domestic travel, including to very remote areas for up to a week at a time.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • A university degree with a minimum of eight years post graduate experience or demonstrated equivalent experience.
  • Experience in delivery of Electronic Warfare or Defence capability projects or services desirable.
  • Ability to interpret intent and guidance, critically analyse requirements, which may be partially defined, and develop a plan incorporating inputs from various internal and external stakeholders, including technical specialists.
  • Ability to communicate with, and influence, people within and outside of work area at an operational level regarding policies, practices, and procedures.
  • The ability to contribute to program leadership and culture and a desire to lead the development of junior Project Managers and Project Officers.
  • Outcome-focused with experience managing and executing concurrent bodies of work.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Australian Government (Defence) Security Clearance up to NV1 - eligibility can be found at https://www.agsva.gov.au/applicants/eligibility-suitability
