About The Role

At Scalable, we use data to make better decisions across our business, including People. As our first dedicated People Analytics hire, you will build the foundations for a data-driven People function.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role. You will bring together People data, create reliable reporting, improve our People Tech stack, and turn data into insights that help leaders make informed decisions.

 

  • Build a trusted People data foundation by combining data from relevant source systems and ensuring data quality, privacy, and clear ownership
  • Design and maintain dashboards and reports for core People metrics, such as headcount, hiring, retention, employee lifecycle, and workforce planning
  • Partner with People Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and business leaders to translate business questions into meaningful analyses
  • Develop clear, actionable recommendations and communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Improve and expand our People Tech ecosystem to support reliable data flows and efficient People processes
  • Establish practical data governance standards for People data, including definitions, access, quality checks, and privacy requirements
  • Identify opportunities to develop forecasting and predictive analytics capabilities as the data foundation matures
  • Shape Scalable’s People Analytics and People Tech foundations from day one with a dedicated budget for analytics tooling and continuous learning
  • Work in close collaboration with People, Finance, and business leadership to directly improve decision-making, employee experience, and business growth
  • Experience in People Analytics, People Data Management, Business Intelligence, or a comparable data analytics role
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data visualisation tools, such as Metabase, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Experience working with HR systems and integrating data from multiple sources
  • A sound understanding of data architecture, data quality, data governance, and privacy principles
  • Ability to explain complex data clearly and turn findings into practical recommendations
  • Experience with Python or R is a plus, especially for advanced analytics
  • Fluent English skills. German is a plus
  • This role requires you to be based in Munich or Berlin and work from one of our office locations
