About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi

As our Atlassian Platform Lead, you will lead the strategy, roadmap, governance, administration and continuous improvement of ACC’s Atlassian platform. This is a highly influential role where you will lead the evolution of Jira, Confluence, Atlassian Analytics, Atlassian Access and emerging Atlassian capabilities, ensuring the platform delivers value across business and technology teams. You will strengthen enterprise delivery practices, support Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery models, drive innovation and adoption, and help enable better outcomes for New Zealanders by supporting the systems and ways of working that help keep Kiwis safe at work, at home, and everywhere in between.

The appointing salary for this role is $113,203 - $131,077 based on experience. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme (9% contribution) with features like no mandatory employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance.

About you | Mōu

You will bring

  • A minimum of five years' experience administering and configuring Atlassian products within a large enterprise environment
  • Deep expertise in Jira configuration including workflows, schemes, permissions, automations, custom fields and marketplace applications
  • Strong knowledge of Atlassian Cloud products including Jira, Confluence, Atlassian Access and Atlassian Analytics
  • Experience supporting Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies through scalable platform solutions
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills across business and technology teams
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement, innovation and platform adoption
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in organisational systems, processes and ways of working
  • You must hold New Zealand work rights at the time of application.
