Registered Nurse Preop/PACU - Egg Harbor Township Surgery Center - Full Time

EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor’s in nursing preferred. Current licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey required. BLS required upon hire or transfer. ACLS and PALS required designated by specialty below. Ability to effectively communicate with others and adjust to changes within daily schedule of activities required. Prior Ambulatory Surgery Center experience preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents within position will be trained appropriately and then skill will be required for this position within 30-60 days from date of hire.

Specialty Experience Advanced Certification Required Preferred Certifications

PreOP PACU

• 1-3 years critical care experience preferred.
• ACLS required within 3 months from date of hire or transfer; PALS required within 6 months from date of hire or transfer. *PALS will be required based on ASC pediatric population

• ASPAN preferred
• Certified Perianesthesia Ambulatory Nurse (CPAN),
• Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse (CAPN)
