Woodward Park City is looking for a Seasonal Rental Technician to join our Guest Experience team. Reporting to the Guest Experience Manager, you will prepare, fit, and maintain rental equipment while providing a safe, efficient, and welcoming experience for every guest. This role is ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and a passion for action sports.

What You'll Do

  • Welcome guests and provide a friendly, efficient rental experience.
  • Fit rental equipment and explain proper use and safety.
  • Inspect, tune, repair, and maintain equipment.
  • Prepare and organize rental inventory for daily operations.
  • Track equipment, maintenance, and inventory records.
  • Process rentals, reservations, and transactions accurately.
  • Complete opening, closing, cash-handling, and waiver procedures.
  • Keep the rental shop clean, organized, safe, and guest ready.
  • Support teammates and other resort operations as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Friendly, guest-focused approach with clear communication skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and interest in equipment tuning and repair.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized.
  • Ability to learn rental systems, equipment standards, and safety procedures.
  • Comfort working indoors and outdoors in winter conditions.
  • Ability to bend, twist, push, pull, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak winter periods.
  • Previous rental, retail, equipment service, outdoor recreation, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of action sports equipment and maintenance is preferred.
  • Comfortable using computers and digital Point of Sale (POS) systems in a customer service environment.
  • Support team members within the Guest Experience Department as needed
