Engineer Training Program - Application/Technical Sales

About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Engineer Training Program - Application/Technical Sales. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, promoting, supporting, and generating sales for industrial components, modules, manifolds, and power units to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Development & Support
- Drive sales growth for industrial components, modules, manifolds, and power units.
- Develop and promote product offerings to meet sales targets and business goals.
Solution Engineering & Quotation
- Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored solutions for customer and market needs.
- Provide accurate and competitive quotes for custom systems, ensuring alignment with client specifications.
- Demonstrate strong technical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
Cross-Divisional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality control, and other departments to ensure successful implementation of customer-specific solutions.
- Lead or assist with project management and cross-functional teamwork.
Customer Promotion & Market Engagement
- Engage with current and prospective customers to understand their needs and offer effective solutions.
- Support distributors with product training, presentations, and promotional materials to increase product knowledge.
- Promote the company’s product portfolio through presentations and strategic marketing initiatives.
- Help create and distribute training materials and product updates to strengthen customer relationships.
- Degree : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution (ex. CHEA)
- Technical Proficiency : Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to conceptualize products, applications, and solutions.
- Work Style: Ability to work independently and in teams, with customer-facing experience. Capable of handling complex tasks with high accuracy and efficiency with minimal supervision.
- Communication Skills : Strong negotiation, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving : Strong judgment and decision-making skills with the ability to solve problems effectively.
- Willingness to Learn : Eagerness to learn about industrial hydraulics and systems.
- Travel : Ability to travel up to 10%.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or other CAD software
