DevOps/SRE

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a DevOps/SRE based in Brazil.

This role is focused on building and maintaining highly reliable, scalable, and automated cloud <infrastructure.You> will work across Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, networking, and observability.Your work will directly contribute to system availability, performance, resilience, and operational <efficiency.You> will automate infrastructure and deployment processes while establishing consistent and scalable environments.The position combines hands-on engineering, proactive monitoring, incident response, and continuous reliability <improvements.You> will collaborate closely with engineering teams to strengthen operational practices and enable dependable software <delivery.It> is an opportunity to work with experienced professionals, modern technologies, and an innovative product with meaningful impact.

Accountabilities

• Administer and optimize Kubernetes clusters and cloud infrastructure across AWS and/or GCP, with a focus on availability, performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Ensure operational reliability across the technology stack, from networking and infrastructure through software development and continuous delivery processes.
• Build and improve monitoring, alerting, and observability capabilities to enable proactive issue detection and rapid incident response.
• Automate deployments and infrastructure management to improve efficiency, scalability, consistency, and environment standardization.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline and improve the software delivery lifecycle.
• Continuously strengthen system resilience, reliability, and operational maturity.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to promote high-availability architectures and strong operational and infrastructure practices.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, deployment, and production issues and contribute to preventative improvements.

Requirements

• Solid professional experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including troubleshooting, cluster management, and scalability.
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Ansible, including environment segregation and automation.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP cloud services, including VPC, IAM, load balancers, S3, RDS, configuration, and automation practices.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and technologies, including firewall configuration, access controls, and network policies.
• Intermediate to advanced Python skills for operational automation and scripting.
• Intermediate Linux administration skills, including server management and network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with access-management best practices, user administration, and least-privilege principles.
• Experience with CI/CD in highly available environments is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar platforms is desirable.
• Experience administering and optimizing SQL and NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Familiarity with Keycloak for authentication and identity management is beneficial.
• Experience administering Java-based solutions such as Apache NiFi is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills, with a proactive approach to reliability and operational challenges.
