About The Role

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Campaign Developer based in India.

This entry-level role offers an opportunity to combine technical development skills with digital marketing campaign execution. You’ll create, update, test, and deploy HTML email campaigns while helping ensure accuracy, consistency, and a strong user experience. Working closely with Marketing Communications teams and other stakeholders, you’ll support campaign workflows and help resolve technical issues efficiently. You’ll also contribute to data-related activities such as list creation and campaign queue management. The role provides exposure to email marketing technology, web development, data extraction, and process optimization in a collaborative environment. You’ll have opportunities to develop your technical expertise while learning broader campaign and data operations. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, adaptability, communication, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Accountabilities

  • Develop, update, and troubleshoot HTML email templates using Engage Marketing Cloud or comparable email marketing platforms.
  • Upload, test, and deploy email campaigns, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with established requirements.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Communications teams and cross-functional stakeholders to support effective campaign execution.
  • Manage campaigns within the open queue and provide backup support to ensure activities remain on schedule.
  • Handle more complex campaigns within defined timelines while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Create and amend campaign-related data and support hybrid activities such as audience and list creation.
  • Prepare campaign reports, identify issues, and escalate complex technical matters to Senior Developers and Team Leads when appropriate.
  • Test and troubleshoot email templates across multiple browsers and email clients to ensure consistent functionality and presentation.
  • Maintain and update process documentation, helping improve workflows and support consistent campaign delivery.
  • Participate in hybrid training covering campaign execution and list creation processes and share knowledge with other team members.
  • Attend meetings and collaborate with distributed teams across US and UK time zones as required.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize workflows, improve efficiency, and reduce campaign rework or repeated review cycles.
  • Manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting established deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications (BCA) or an equivalent qualification; a diploma or additional training in web development or data analytics is preferred.
  • Approximately 1 year of experience in a marketing, technical, email development, data, or related role.
  • Hands-on experience with email development, data development, or campaign execution using email marketing software.
  • Strong technical proficiency in HTML and CSS, including media queries, with working knowledge of XML.
  • Understanding of web design principles and fundamental User Experience (UX) concepts.
  • Ability to test, diagnose, and troubleshoot email rendering and functionality issues across different browsers and email clients.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server for data extraction and data amendments.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms, preferably Engage Marketing Cloud or a comparable solution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly when collaborating with distributed and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving, time management, organization, and project planning abilities.
  • Ability to understand business objectives and align campaign execution with broader goals.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, accountability, and sound judgment when resolving issues.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn hybrid responsibilities spanning campaign development and list creation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate, high-quality work within established deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build positive working relationships and contribute to team success.
  • A proactive approach to identifying process improvements and accelerating execution.
