Join a collaborative engineering environment focused on improving developer productivity and creating smoother software delivery <workflows.In> this role, you will listen closely to engineering teams and turn their challenges into practical tools, automations, and <improvements.You> will help reduce feedback loops, accelerate development, and strengthen software quality across the organization.The role combines software engineering with CI/CD, cloud, containerization, and developer <tooling.You> will work primarily with Java-based applications while having opportunities to expand your technical expertise.The culture emphasizes simplicity, incremental delivery, autonomy, and building high-quality solutions rather than simply moving fast.This is a fully remote opportunity, with the flexibility to work from anywhere in Brazil.
Accountabilities
- Research and engage with engineering teams to identify pain points and opportunities to improve development tools and workflows.
- Collaborate with developers by creating clear documentation, guidance, and enablement materials for development tools.
- Build automations that streamline software development processes and reduce manual effort.
- Develop automated software quality tools and practices that improve reliability and engineering standards.
- Optimize application build and deployment times to create faster and more efficient development feedback loops.
- Implement automated processes for provisioning and managing pre-production environments.
- Contribute to a culture of engineering excellence through simple, maintainable, collaborative, and high-quality solutions.
Requirements
- Proven professional experience developing software with Java.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with Git and version control workflows.
- Working knowledge of AWS and cloud-based development environments.
- Experience with Docker and software containerization.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative approach to working with development teams.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving engineering needs.
Nice to have
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience using GitHub Actions.
- Experience implementing and maintaining automated testing solutions.
