About the role
We are looking for a Social Media Content Creator to join us and support the social media strategy and execution for one of Ireland's biggest brands.
We are looking for someone who loves creating content and has a genuine passion for social media. This opportunity is perfect for a talented, experienced, and organised individual who can translate brand personality into engaging social content, understands how to leverage social platforms effectively, and can help bring a brand's social presence to life at national scale.
What you will be doing
Steward of the clients’ online personality
Working from concept to delivery of content creation
Work in true collaboration with the client brand team to set out campaign and content plans for all relevant platforms
Help drive best practice and innovation across all social campaigns and content development
Drive dialogue and engagement with the digital audience
Ensure all content is delivering against the social strategy, objectives and KPIs
Bring a social first perspective to the development of integrated campaigns, working alongside the creative team as part of an Interagency Team to advise on the right approach for social assets for the brand’s channels
Support teams to ensure best practices and learnings are implemented and advise on asset relevance for community and channels
Identify proactive opportunities for engagement and reactive content in channel
Write inventive, attention-capturing content
Develop an annual content calendar and create concepts that are relevant to the client while considering pop culture, trends, and commercial dates
Make regular recommendations based on best practices, trends and performance, staying up to date with the latest industry innovations and new ways of content creation
Regularly feeding the teams (client and OLIVER) with new formats, trends, references for social content
Direct and produce Social Media coverage at client events and sponsored events whenever required
Work close with the client and Art Director, Creative Director, Designers, Filmmakers, and Editors to ensure content creation is aligned with the brand guidelines
What you need to be great in this role
- Proven experience working in-house or agency working on social campaigns for global brands
- Understanding of the financial landscape preferable
- A platform native, including management and distribution tools
- Keen and active interest in digital trends and popular culture
- In-depth understanding of paid media and the role of influencers
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to proactively organise and influence others and manage expectations
- Obsessively spotting opportunities to create content/moments for the brand and help clients achieve their business and brand ambitions
- Driven by the data and measurement, constantly testing opportunities for learning
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to develop the voice of the brand within it
Essential Qualifications
- 4+ years’ experience creating and managing content with global brands
- Highly creative with ability to bring concept to life through social channels
- Expert in social media management and platforms including, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and TikTok.
- Strong community management experience
- Digital campaigns
