Tanzu engineer

We are looking for an experienced Tanzu Engineer with 5+ years of IT infrastructure and platform engineering experience, including hands-on expertise in VMware Tanzu and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying, managing, and supporting container platforms while enabling cloud-native application delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage VMware Tanzu Kubernetes environments.
• Administer Kubernetes clusters, namespaces, networking, and storage.
• Automate platform deployment and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Monitor platform health, performance, and capacity.
• Troubleshoot container, Kubernetes, and Tanzu platform issues.
• Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to support CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement platform security, backup, patching, and disaster recovery best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of IT Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or DevOps experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with VMware Tanzu and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Docker, Helm, and container orchestration.
• Knowledge of VMware vSphere, NSX, and vSAN is an advantage.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or scripting (Bash/Python).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of Linux administration, networking, and cloud-native technologies.
