About The Role

As a Shipping/Receiving Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in managing and coordinating the shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and products. You will be responsible for maintaining efficient workflow and supporting the supply chain processes to meet customer and business needs.

You will report directly to our ISC Production Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Lansdale, PA location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the overall efficiency of the supply chain by ensuring accurate inventory management, timely shipments, and smooth coordination between procurement, logistics, and manufacturing teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and manage all shipping and receiving activities to ensure compliance with company policies and customer requirements.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, quality, and proper documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and discrepancies, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance shipping and receiving processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations during handling and transportation of materials.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Experience in shipping and receiving operations within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, shipment documentation, and logistics coordination.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to inspect shipments for quality and accuracy and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in material handling and transportation.

WE VALUE

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems such as PeopleSoft or SAP is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
