Machine Operator – Mail Inserter

Position is Onsite in Plano, Texas

Sunday-Thursday 2pm-10:30pm

Pay is $17.50-$19 per hour – based on experience

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a mailroom, post office, transactional print, or fulfillment environment. Knowledge of commercial print-insert or direct mailer business is highly preferred. Warehouse knowledge and inventory management also a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate High Speed Automated Inserters to process customer mail files.
• Load materials onto the machine, adjust settings and troubleshoot issues as required
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of the machine
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines while operating the machine
• Complete each job according to client requirements and mail presort specifications.
• Communicate with internal teams for task coordination and knowledge sharing.
• Move pallets with manual pallet jack
• Ensure quality of output and review for errors

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
• Able to stand for most of the shift
• Overtime as business requires
• Basic computer skills
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Good organizational skills
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive.
