Responsibilities

  • Design and build RESTful APIs and services in .NET that integrate a new partner-facing portal with internal loan systems.
  • Implement business logic per documented API contracts and business rules.
  • Build and consume asynchronous, event-driven integrations (message/queue-based notifications).
  • Write automated tests and participate in code review.
  • Deploy and operate services in containers on Azure, using GitLab CI pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve defects across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
  • Collaborate with the Business Analyst and Software Architect to clarify requirements and edge cases.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional software development experience with .NET (C#), including independent ownership of complex features end-to-end.
  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
  • Practical experience with Microsoft Azure services (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, or equivalent).
  • Experience with containerized deployments (Docker).
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (unit and integration tests).
  • Good English communication skills (B2+) — daily collaboration with a US-based team.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with OAuth 2.0 / bearer-token security patterns.
  • Experience with event-driven or asynchronous architectures (Service Bus, pub/sub).
  • Experience in mortgage, lending, or financial services.
  • Experience integrating with legacy or mainframe systems via APIs.
