About The Role
Your role, your impact
As a Functional Owner - PPM within the Corporate Oracle ERP/EPM Center of Excellence, you'll play a critical role in supporting the design, delivery, optimization, and continuous improvement of Oracle Fusion Project Portfolio Management (PPM) solutions. You'll work closely with Finance, Project Management, Operations stakeholders, Business Analysts , Functional Owners, Solution Architects, and technical teams to support complex projects, enhancements, and ongoing operations. Your ability to understand and challenge business requirements, design and configure Oracle Fusion PPM solutions, lead functional delivery, execute testing, and provide functional leadership will directly contribute to successful project delivery, operational excellence, solution quality, and the continuous evolution of the Oracle application landscape.
Your day-to-day
- Lead the end-to-end functional delivery of complex Oracle Fusion PPM initiatives;
- Partner with business stakeholders and Business Analysts to gather, analyze, challenge, and refine business requirements;
- Translate business requirements into scalable functional designs, configurations, and solution recommendations;
- Facilitate workshops, requirements discussions, and solution design sessions with stakeholders and project teams;
- Configure, maintain, support, and optimize Oracle Fusion PPM solutions across Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, Revenue Recognition, Capital and Expense Projects, and Project Financial Management;
- Ensure strong functional integration between Oracle Fusion PPM and related Oracle Financials modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR);
- Review solution options and recommend approaches aligned with business objectives, Oracle best practices, and enterprise standards, while identifying opportunities for process and system improvement;
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Technical Leads to ensure solution quality, sustainability, maintainability, and alignment with enterprise architecture principles;
- Develop and execute functional testing activities, including CRP, SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect management, and solution validation;
- Support impact assessments, release readiness, deployment planning, and Oracle quarterly update activities;
- Produce and maintain functional documentation, specifications, configuration documentation, and supporting materials;
- Provide knowledge transfer, support user adoption activities, mentor Functional Analysts, and contribute to the continuous improvement of Oracle Fusion PPM capabilities.
Keys to your success
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience;
- Minimum 6 - 10 years of experience as a Functional Analyst working with Oracle packaged solutions;
- 4 - 7 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud PPM;
- Experience delivering complex enterprise solutions through projects, enhancements, and operational initiatives, including Oracle Fusion PPM configuration, testing, application support, and continuous improvement activities;
- Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion PPM to Financials integrations, including reconciliation to General Ledger;
- Experience delivering complex enterprise solutions through projects, enhancements, and operational initiatives;
- Experience working with business stakeholders and Business Analysts to define, challenge, and translate business requirements into functional solutions, lead functional workstreams, and participate in CRP, SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect management, and release readiness activities;
- Demonstrated expertise in Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, Project Financial Management, Revenue Recognition, and Capital and Expense Projects;
- Experience documenting functional requirements, specifications, solution designs, configuration approaches, supporting documentation, and mentoring analysts and junior team members;
- Strong analytical, facilitation, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, collaboration, and organizational skills, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on functional execution while managing competing priorities.

- Oracle Fusion PPM certification;
- Experience serving as a Functional Owner, Domain Lead, or Solution Lead, and providing functional governance, design oversight, and functional sign-off for major Oracle initiatives;
- Experience working within an internal Oracle Center of Excellence (CoE) operating model, supporting Oracle quarterly updates, release planning, release governance, CRP1, CRP2, SIT, and UAT activities, as well as internal and external audit initiatives related to Oracle PPM and project accounting;
- Experience with OTBI, BI Publisher, Power BI, or Power Query;
- Knowledge of Oracle Financials Cloud and Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), and understanding of integrations, data conversions, reconciliation processes, data quality practices, project accounting controls, compliance, audit requirements, and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.
