KYC Risk Business Partner at Wise — Estonia

About The Role

Join Wise, a global technology company on a mission to make money management easier and more affordable for everyone. As the KYC Risk Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in identifying and assessing risks, developing mitigation plans, and ensuring effective governance. You will work closely with KYC teams, Central Risk, Compliance, and other control functions to strengthen risk ownership and build risk capability across KYC.

Act as a trusted advisor to KYC leadership, embedding effective operational risk management into strategic decisions and day-to-day operations.
Identify and assess risks arising from processes, systems, people, third parties, and organizational change, providing constructive challenge and risk-based advice.
Develop and coordinate risk-mitigation plans, monitor the implementation and effectiveness of mitigation plans, and track residual risk.

**Language Skills:** Fluent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate complex risk matters clearly and concisely.
**Experience with:** Strong understanding of KYC Operations and the regulatory framework surrounding KYC.

**Nice to have:**

**Education:** Degree or equivalent experience in Risk Management, Business, Finance, Compliance, Law, or a related field.
**Certifications:** Relevant certification in operational risk, AML, compliance, audit, or internal controls.
**Experience:** Previous experience in a dedicated risk, compliance, audit, or controls role.

**Salary:** €3,450 – €4,500 gross/month
**Stock:** Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) reviewed at offer stage
**Relocation & Visa:** Visa and relocation support is available for this role
