Head of Legal (Part-Time)

Join our team as a part-time Head of Legal based in Dublin, Ireland. In this role, you will manage and oversee all legal matters related to the company, including corporate governance, human resources, and commercial matters. You will collaborate with the business team on commercial endeavors, oversee corporate governance matters, manage external counsel, and perform other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of post-qualification experience, experience working with international organizations, and a strong understanding of business sensitivities and confidentiality.

• Lead, direct, and oversee all legal matters relating to the company, including corporate governance, human resources, and commercial matters.
• Collaborate with the business team on commercial endeavours and oversee and manage all corporate governance matters.
• Manage external counsel regarding their assignments and ensure legal compliance and statutory filings for the company in both the U.S. and foreign markets.
• 7+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) with an established law firm or company

preferred

• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
• Experience in working with international organisations
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of statutes, rules and regulations pertaining to businesses
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills
• Experience in high growth and technology companies preferred
• Proficient understanding of business sensitivities and confidentiality
• Experience with US corporate governance issues and corporate secretarial duties
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; extremely detail-oriented
