### Accountabilities

  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy, ensuring that agile teams deliver solutions aligned with business objectives and market needs.
  • Maximize the value of products developed by agile teams by establishing clear priorities and maintaining strong alignment between business strategy and development.
  • Define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, translating business and user needs into clear and concise user stories.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams and stakeholders to maintain alignment and ensure the continuous delivery of value.
  • Act as the voice of the customer by communicating product vision, priorities, and objectives for each development cycle and Sprint.
  • Conduct user interviews, research, and usability testing to gain a deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and expectations.
  • Validate completed deliverables at the end of each development cycle, ensuring acceptance criteria and quality standards have been met.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for product-related matters, collaborating with executive leadership, marketing, sales, support, and other business functions.
  • Prioritize initiatives and features based on data, business impact, market needs, and user feedback.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative information to support product decisions and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Balance customer needs, business priorities, technical considerations, and delivery capacity when making product decisions.
  • Maintain effective communication across stakeholders to ensure transparency around product priorities, progress, and expected outcomes.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven professional experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, such as Business Analyst or Product Manager.
  • Strong understanding of product vision, strategy, backlog management, prioritization, and agile product development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with roadmap and product management tools such as Jira, Canva, Miro, Aha!, or Productboard.
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Google Analytics or Mixpanel.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to quickly understand business objectives, customer needs, and market dynamics.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements and user feedback into clear and actionable product requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with development teams and stakeholders across multiple business functions.
  • Postgraduate degree or MBA in Product Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in agritech or technology solutions for the livestock industry is desirable.
