To support this growth, we’re looking for an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our Frankfurt team.

Accelerate the future of lithium brine processing in Europe

As a Senior Electrical Engineer , you will play a key role in the development and delivery of projects in support of the European energy transition, with a focus on lithium brine and complex downstream processing projects. Your expertise will contribute to the design, evaluation, and optimisation of process systems, ensuring technical excellence and commercial viability.

You will work closely with engineering teams across multiple international locations, contributing to the development of innovative and technically challenging chemical processes designed to meet the growing global demand for lithium. Your work will help shape sustainable solutions that support the energy transition worldwide.

As the Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the following key activities

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering design.
  • Experience in electrical and instrumentation design, including reviewing, marking up technical drawings, and providing construction and commissioning support.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, electrical and instrumentation design specifications, detailed designs, and work packs/scopes of work.
  • Participate in all project phases including scoping, proposals, feasibility, detailed design, construction support, commissioning, field engineering, and business development.
  • Expertise in the design and specification of electrical and instrumentation equipment for hazardous areas.
  • Expertise in functional safety lifecycle documentations specifically the development of LOPA method from the process safety standard.
  • Experience conducting early-stage studies for electrical and instrumentation systems, including proficiency in electrical system calculations.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams, overseeing and coordinating the work of junior engineers and designers, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Support procurement, construction, and site activities including package development, vendor coordination and bid reviews.
  • Knowledge and experience working with clients in the minerals processing.
  • Knowledge of control systems design.
  • Experience in a multi-disciplinary consultancy setting.
  • Proficiency in workshop facilitation (HAZOP).
  • Project management skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant German Standards.
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English (professional proficiency).
