Experienced TIG Welder - Custom Metal Fabrication

$22.00–$30.00 per hour | Full-Time | Tontitown, Arkansas

L&L Metal Fabrication is looking for an experienced TIG Welder to join our team in Tontitown, Arkansas.

We are looking for a skilled welder who takes pride in producing clean, precise, high-quality work. This position is ideal for someone with strong TIG welding experience who enjoys custom fabrication, working from drawings, and building a variety of projects rather than performing the same repetitive weld every day.

This is a full-time, on-site position in an active metal fabrication shop.

What You’ll Do

• Perform high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel
• Fabricate custom metal components and assemblies according to drawings, dimensions, and project specifications
• Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and fabrication details
• Fit, measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials for welding and fabrication
• Produce clean, accurate welds while maintaining proper fit, alignment, and finish
• Perform grinding, finishing, and cleanup as required to produce a professional finished product
• Inspect your own work for quality, dimensions, and conformance to project requirements
• Use common fabrication tools and equipment safely and correctly
• Work with supervisors and other fabrication team members to complete projects accurately and efficiently
• Maintain an organized and safe work area

What We’re Looking For

• Proven TIG welding experience
• Strong TIG welding skills on stainless steel and aluminum
• Ability to produce clean, consistent, high-quality welds
• Ability to read and work from drawings, measurements, and fabrication details
• Experience with fitting and custom metal fabrication
• Ability to accurately use a tape measure and common fabrication tools
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Ability to work independently while also working effectively as part of a team
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality

Preferred Experience

Experience in any of the following is especially valuable

• Custom metal fabrication
• Architectural or ornamental metalwork
• Stainless steel fabrication and finishing
• Aluminum fabrication
• Handrails, stairs, frames, or custom assemblies
• Grinding and finishing of exposed welds
• Working from detailed shop drawings or blueprints

Welding Test

• Candidates should be prepared to complete an in-person welding test as part of the interview process.
• The welding test will be used to evaluate TIG welding ability, quality, accuracy, and overall fabrication skills.

Work Environment

This position is based at our metal fabrication facility in Tontitown, Arkansas.

The work is hands-on and performed in an active fabrication environment. Candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods, working around fabrication equipment, handling materials, and performing the physical tasks associated with welding and metal fabrication.
