About The Role

joining the manufacturing team at teenage engineering means being an integral part of every single product we make. you will develop automation and test processes to ensure world-class quality and consistency, playing a crucial role in bringing our products into mass production.

working cross-functionally within multi-disciplinary teams, you will deliver test systems that are repeatable, cost-effective, and critical to the end-customer experience.

main responsibilities & tasks

  • design and implement high-tech manufacturing test solutions, fixtures, and robotics for production lines—including computer vision and machine learning applications.
  • develop and maintain test code and custom applications for future products, from board level to full product assembly.
  • collaborate with r&d and manufacturing teams to define test flows, processes, and methods.
  • continuously monitor and analyze test data to implement improvements.
  • assist the hardware team with hardware validation and board bring-up during product development.
  • travel to our manufacturing sites in asia and europe for hands-on implementation and problem-solving.

qualifications

to succeed in this role, we believe you have

  • good knowledge of python, c / c++, and experience with other languages.
  • solid understanding of embedded systems, linux, and basic system administration.
  • experience with real-time systems, computer vision, and machine learning.
  • comfort working in linux-based terminals.
  • basic understanding of analog and digital electronic circuits.
  • a strong interest in automation, robotics, and manufacturing.
  • ability to tackle problems from both a bottom-up and top-down perspective.
  • strong analytical skills and a collaborative mindset.

placement and employment type

this is a full-time position, located at our hq in stockholm. travelling to visit our manufacturing sites will be part of your job.

as this position is located in stockholm, a swedish work permit is required to apply.
