About The Role

BwB is looking to partner with a Mauritius-based Sustainable Finance Expert to contingently support an upcoming circular economy financing assignment in Mauritius.

The expert should

Be based in Mauritius.
Hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Have at least 10 years of demonstrable experience working with financing institutions, project finance, or funding mechanisms.
Have strong expertise in sustainable finance.

Experience with

Sustainable finance
Financial institutions (banks, DFIs, development banks)
Project finance/funding mechanisms

Highly desirable

Circular economy financing
Green finance / climate finance
MSME finance
Gender-responsive finance
Experience working with Government of Mauritius or other Small Island Developing States (SIDS)
Experience developing financing guidelines, credit frameworks or investment criteria
Fluency in both English and French
