We're scaling fast in the US and building a brand that's trend-forward, editorially sharp, and allergic to generic marketing. Our creative team turns real brand data into work that actually moves people.

The role

We're looking for a Senior Motion Designer to define and own how Tracksuit moves. You'll build our motion language from the ground up, from campaign and social content, to signature brand moments, to event and on-screen assets, and eventually motion inside our own product and dashboards. You'll work directly with our Brand Creative Lead and collaborate daily with brand, growth, and product teams.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who wants to build a motion system from scratch, not maintain someone else's.

What you'll do

• Define and document Tracksuit's motion principles - the animation alphabet that makes our brand feel like us in motion, not just in stills
• Design and produce standout motion for flagship initiatives (Core Brand Identity, Global Campaigns, Abstracted UI, Product Animations)
• Own end-to-end motion for social and paid content, from concept to final export
• Partner with the design team to translate static brand assets into animated systems
• Bring a point of view - push back on generic briefs and pitch better ideas
• Stay ahead of tools (Rive, AI-assisted workflows) and bring new capability to the team, not just new outputs

What you'll bring

• 7+ years' motion design experience, with senior-level ownership of at least one brand's motion system (agency or in-house)
• Expert After Effects; strong 2D animation and editing fundamentals
• A portfolio that shows thinking , not just polish - work that solved a communication problem
• Comfort working from a loose brief and finding the idea yourself
• Figma, Rive, Cinema 4D/Blender, illustration skills, AI-assisted motion workflows
• Based in Sydney or Auckland
