Wireless Protocol Software Engineer (C/C )

This role is for engineers who have worked on 4G/5G wireless protocol stack development but are open to working on legacy 2G/3G technologies . Many telecom companies continue to maintain and enhance 2G/3G networks for operators worldwide, making these skills valuable.

Experience: 3–6 years

Location: Bangalore (5 days/week from office)

Technical Skills

• Strong C/C++ programming with solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience in wireless telecom protocol development based on 3GPP standards .
• Hands-on debugging of issues found during:
• 3GPP conformance testing
• Customer field trials
• In-house testing
• Interoperability (IOT) testing
• Experience analyzing logs, identifying root causes, and fixing protocol stack issues.
• Knowledge of 2G (GSM) Layer 1 Controller , 3G (UMTS) , or IRAT (Inter Radio Access Technology) modules that manage mobility between 2G/3G/4G networks.
• Candidates currently working on 4G/5G are welcome, provided they're willing to work on 2G/3G development .
• Experience analyzing logs, identifying root causes, and fixing protocol stack issues.
