About The Role

The Oracle Health Medication Administration team is responsible for delivering solutions that help clinicians safely and efficiently administer medications across acute, ambulatory, and specialty care settings. Medication administration is one of the most critical moments in the care delivery process, directly impacting patient safety, clinical outcomes, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and clinician experience.

Our mission is to support and evolve medication administration workflows through intuitive, reliable, and highly integrated solutions that reduce cognitive burden, streamline nursing workflows, and improve patient safety. This includes maintaining existing medication administration capabilities that customers depend on today, while also modernizing traditional workflows through interoperability, mobile experiences, barcode medication administration, clinical decision support, workflow optimization, and emerging AI-enabled capabilities.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to help manage, enhance, and modernize medication administration capabilities within Oracle Health’s Electronic Health Record. In this role, you will balance support for existing and legacy product capabilities with the development of new workflows, modernization initiatives, and future-state medication administration experiences.

You will partner closely with nursing leaders, pharmacists, physicians, customers, engineering teams, UX designers, clinical informaticists, quality, regulatory, consulting, and customer-facing teams to deliver solutions that improve the safety, efficiency, usability, and reliability of medication administration workflows.

You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, defining product requirements, prioritizing investments, supporting roadmap execution, and guiding product development from concept through delivery and adoption. This role requires a product manager who can operate across current-state product support, customer commitments, regulatory and safety expectations, technical modernization, and future-state product innovation.

Your work will directly impact clinicians caring for patients every day while helping Oracle Health advance the next generation of medication management.

  • Product Strategy, Roadmap, and Portfolio Execution: Contribute to the strategic direction and roadmap for medication administration capabilities across the Oracle Health platform. Balance enhancement requests, customer commitments, regulatory needs, technical debt, customer feedback, defects, lifecycle considerations, and modernization investments across both existing and future-state product capabilities.
  • Existing Product Support and Lifecycle Management: Support the ongoing evolution of existing and legacy medication administration capabilities that are currently used by Oracle Health customers. Evaluate customer issues, workflow gaps, adoption barriers, technical constraints, and lifecycle needs to inform prioritization, sustainment decisions, modernization plans, and customer communication.
  • Product Requirements and Feature Definition: Translate customer needs, clinical workflow requirements, regulatory expectations, modernization priorities, and market opportunities into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflow documentation. Partner closely with engineering and UX teams throughout the development lifecycle to ensure requirements are actionable, testable, and aligned to product intent.
  • Clinical Workflow Expertise: Develop deep understanding of medication administration workflows, including barcode medication administration, medication scanning, medication scheduling, infusion management, documentation, exception handling, medication safety checks, and clinical communication. Ensure solutions align with real-world nursing practice across both current customer workflows and future-state product experiences.
  • Customer and User Engagement: Engage with customers, external stakeholders, and internal stakeholders to understand workflow challenges, ensure product capabilities align with customer needs, gather feedback, and support adoption. Act as the voice of the customer while balancing individual customer needs with scalable product direction.
  • Patient Safety and Quality Focus: Champion patient safety by identifying opportunities to reduce medication errors, improve compliance with medication administration policies, strengthen documentation quality, and enhance decision support during medication administration workflows. Ensure product decisions appropriately account for clinical risk, usability, reliability, and safety in high-stakes care settings.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, UX, clinical informatics, interoperability, quality assurance, regulatory, consulting, support, customer success, and customer-facing teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer and market needs. Drive alignment across stakeholders when priorities, ownership, dependencies, or tradeoffs are unclear.
  • Workflow Modernization and Innovation: Drive modernization initiatives focused on improving usability, mobility, automation, workflow efficiency, and product scalability. Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI and intelligent automation, to identify opportunities that create measurable value for clinicians while maintaining trust, safety, and operational readiness.
  • Regulatory and Compliance Alignment: Ensure product capabilities support applicable healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, medication safety practices, privacy, security, and documentation requirements. Partner with regulatory, quality, clinical safety, and engineering stakeholders to ensure both existing and new capabilities remain aligned with evolving compliance expectations.
  • Product Delivery, Release Readiness, and Adoption: Support release planning, dependency tracking, customer readiness, documentation, training, enablement, and adoption strategies. Measure outcomes and continuously improve products based on customer feedback, support trends, usage data, workflow observations, and product performance metrics.
  • Market and Industry Awareness: Maintain awareness of healthcare industry trends, nursing informatics practices, medication safety initiatives, competitor offerings, interoperability standards, and evolving technology expectations. Use market and customer insights to inform roadmap decisions, modernization priorities, and investment recommendations.
