Technical Lead- GoLang (Backend & Platform Architecture)

Role Summary

This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring deep expertise in Golang, Python, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and scalable backend architecture. The role will drive critical technical decisions, mentor senior engineers, and provide architectural direction across engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the overall architecture and technical direction of backend systems and platforms.
• Design scalable, highly available, secure, and maintainable distributed systems and microservices .
• Define service architecture, APIs, data models, integration patterns, and technology standards.
• Drive architecture and design decisions, balancing scalability, performance, reliability, security, and cost .
• Lead technical design and architecture reviews for major initiatives.
• Remain hands-on with Golang and Python , contributing to critical and technically complex components.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience , with strong backend/distributed systems expertise.
• B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience operating as a Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, Technical Lead, or equivalent .
• Strong hands-on expertise in Golang and Python .
• Deep knowledge of system architecture, distributed systems, microservices, and API design .
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and Redis .
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes .
• Proven ability to drive architecture and technical decisions across multiple teams .
• Experience leading large-scale architecture modernization or technology transformation initiatives.
