Expense Operations Associate PURPOSEThe Associates in Expense Operations will be responsible for processing expense reports in the SAP CONCUR or APPZEN system within Bayer, as well as ensuring compliance with company policies and providing support for expense-related inquiries. YOUR TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIESExpense Report ProcessingReceive, review, and process employee expense reports (basic to average countries) in the Concur system or in Appzen.Verify expenses for compliance with company policies and regulations.Ensure accurate coding and allocation of expenses to appropriate cost centers.Expense Policy ComplianceStay up to date with company expense policies and guidelines.Provide guidance and support to employees on policy compliance.Identify and report any potential policy violations.Expense Report ReimbursementCoordinate and process expense report reimbursements in a timely manner.Ensure accurate and timely payments to employees.Address any reimbursement discrepancies or issues.Communication and SupportAssist employees in understanding Concur expense reporting process.Respond to inquiries and provide timely support to resolve issues.Collaborate with employees and managers to clarify expense-related matters.Reporting & AnalyticsGenerate reports and analyze expense data for trends and compliance.Provide insights and recommendations for expense management improvements.Audit PreparationAssist with the preparation and documentation of expense-related audits.Ensure all records and reports are readily available for auditors.Other ActivitiesPrepare and conduct trainings.Participate and provide support in new projects of SAP Concur Expense <area.Drive> process improvements.Continuous innovation and improvement of current processes.
