About The Role

You will become part of the MI OPS Business Unit's Laboratory Operations Team within the Common Services and Infrastructure (COSI) organization. In this role, you will contribute to the daily operation of modern telecommunications laboratories, helping ensure that infrastructure, equipment, and logistics processes run efficiently and reliably.

Location: Kraków, onsite

Working alongside experienced professionals, you will gain exposure to the complete lifecycle of laboratory assets and infrastructure, from procurement and deployment to relocation, maintenance, inventory management, and disposal. You will also support ongoing improvement initiatives that enable engineering teams around the world to perform their work effectively.

  • Support daily laboratory infrastructure and logistics operations.
  • Assist with inventory management, asset registration, and equipment tracking activities.
  • Help coordinate laboratory equipment procurement and catalog ordering processes.
  • Support goods receiving, shipments, and equipment transfers between Nokia locations.
  • Maintain asset databases, logistics records, and operational documentation.
  • Assist with stock checks, laboratory audits, and compliance-related activities.
  • Support equipment deployment, relocation, storage, and retirement processes.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, courier companies, and internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to e-waste handling and asset disposal processes in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Assist in infrastructure readiness activities for laboratories, workspaces, and technical environments.
  • Support CAPEX and OPEX related operational activities, reporting, and tracking.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational excellence, automation, and process optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, laboratory users, and infrastructure teams to address operational needs and resolve day-to-day challenges.

Must-Have

  • Active student status in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Good communication in English (both written and spoken)
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
  • Basic understanding of logistics, inventory management, procurement, or infrastructure processes is considered an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools; experience with SAP or other asset management systems is beneficial.
  • Proactive mindset, ownership attitude, and willingness to learn.
