About The Role
The Vice President - I will serve as the senior executive leader for the Fraud Investigation Unit at USGI Legal Entity, overseeing the Investigation Vertical (IV), Salvage Operations, and Vehicle Recovery Execution (VRE). This role requires strategic vision, cross‑functional coordination, and hands‑on leadership to protect assets, mitigate fraud risk, and drive operational excellence across all investigative functions.
- Direct and oversee the Investigation Vertical (IV) to detect, analyze, and mitigate fraud.
- Manage Salvage Operations, ensuring efficient recovery and disposition of assets.
- Lead Vehicle Recovery Execution (VRE) initiatives, coordinating with law enforcement and partners.
- Develop and implement cross‑functional operational strategies across the Fraud Investigation Unit.
- Establish performance metrics, KPIs and reporting for IV, Salvage and VRE.
- Allocate resources, budgets and staffing to meet investigative objectives.
- Foster collaboration with legal, compliance, and risk management teams.
- Drive continuous improvement through data analytics and technology adoption.
- Represent USGI in external stakeholder meetings, industry forums, and regulatory bodies.
- Mentor senior investigators and build high‑performing teams.
- 12+ years progressive experience in fraud investigation, asset recovery, or related fields.
- Proven leadership at senior executive level, preferably VP or Director.
- Deep knowledge of investigation methodologies, salvage processes, and vehicle recovery operations.
- Strong analytical, strategic planning, and risk assessment skills.
- Experience managing multi‑disciplinary teams and cross‑functional projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Track record of implementing technology solutions (e.g., data analytics, AI) in investigations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Finance, Business, or related discipline; Master’s preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CFE, CISA, Certified Fraud Examiner) advantageous.
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances as required.
