Apprentice Electrician
About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our team in Laverton North. This is a hands-on opportunity to develop your skills in an industrial environment while completing your apprenticeship.
You’ll work alongside experienced electricians maintaining and improving critical site infrastructure and automated systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with installation of wiring, conduit and electrical equipment
- Support inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs
- Assist with fault finding and troubleshooting activities
- Help maintain conveyors, plant equipment and automation systems
- Identify and escalate electrical faults and safety hazards
- Maintain tools, equipment and accurate maintenance records
- Participate in structured apprenticeship training
What We’re Looking For
- Currently enrolled (or planning to enrol) in a TAFE electrical apprenticeship
- Strong interest in electrical systems and learning the trade
- Willingness to follow instructions and work under supervision
- Commitment to safety and teamwork
- Good communication skills
- Current driver’s licence (preferred)
Nice to Have
- Exposure to industrial or maintenance environments
- Familiarity with tools or testing equipment
- Basic computer skills
