Full Stack Developer - Mexico Residents

We are seeking a full stack developer to assist our growing development team. The ideal candidate will work remotely and report into our lead developer while working collaboratively with the main development team in Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web interfaces using React (Next.js)
• Design and implement RESTful APIs with TypeScript and Express
• Manage and query MongoDB databases
• Collaborate with team members to deliver scalable, maintainable code

Required Skills

• React (Next.js) and responsive design principles
• Backend development with TypeScript and Express
• API development and MongoDB integration

Preferred Skills

• API security and authentication development/implementation
• Experience with Docker and microservice architecture
• Mobile development with React Native or Flutter
• PHP and WordPress development experience

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills in Agile/Scrum environments
• Ability to write clear documentation and explain technical decisions
• Proactive mindset and ability to work autonomously or in a small team

Bonus Attributes

• Prior experience in building scalable SaaS platforms
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Testing experience (Jest, Cypress, or similar frameworks)

Languages

• Strong English speaking skills
