  • Roles & responsibilities ​
  • We are recruiting for a Assistant Manager in the Germany Audit Corporate team. Working as a Assistant Manager in this team, your responsibilities will include:​
  • Leading and managing a team of fresh graduates and experienced professionals working on audits for Germany​
  • Auditing financial statements of international clients and performing an in-charge role​
  • Act as main point of contact for departments and build strong relationships with key contacts in Germany​
  • Work with the senior management and key German contacts to develop business and grow the team​
  • Make regular contact with Germany to ensure staff are booked to audits and utilized effectively and take feedback on quality of work delivered​
  • Track key metrics related to type of work performed, quality of deliverables and feedback from Germany​
  • Develop and deliver training sessions based on the themes identified from onshore feedback and quality reviews​
  • Work with L&D team to identify training needs​
  • Work with Recruitment team to support hiring needs​
  • Act as the Performance Manager and lead the career development of team members​
  • Coach Seniors on performing reviews and developing their team members​
  • Motivate and develop Seniors to be effective team leaders​
  • Educational qualifications ​
  • Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (ICAI)​
  • Work experience​
  • 2.5 to 4.5 year experience with a Big 4 in a client facing environment working with corporate and/or international clients Skillset​
  • Preferred technical & functional skills ​
  • Technical skills:​
  • In depth knowledge of external/statutory audits and audit methodology as per Standards on Auditing​
  • Understanding of international GAAP, IFRS and Internal controls over Financial reporting.​
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)​
  • Proficiency/Working knowledge of Adobe Professional would be an added advantage​
