Field Service XI, Power

Position Overview: Vertiv is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Engineer specializing in Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems. This role is critical in supporting our clients’ mission-critical infrastructure by ensuring the reliability and performance of Vertiv’s power solutions across telecom, data center, and industrial sectors. Key Responsibilities: Perform installation, commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance of Vertiv UPS systems, including Liebert® series. Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting of electrical and control systems to resolve faults and restore uptime. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and Vertiv service standards during all field activities. Prepare and submit technical service reports, RCARs, and documentation accurately and promptly. Provide on-site technical support and training to customers on UPS operation and maintenance. Maintain service tools, calibration equipment, and documentation in good working condition. Log all service activities in the regional service tracker and contribute to service quality improvements. Collaborate with regional and global support teams for escalations and complex issue resolution. Provide seamless service delivery and operational flexibility. Qualifications & Experience: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field. Minimum 7 years of experience in field service, preferably with UPS or power systems. Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, battery systems, and power electronics. Familiarity with Vertiv Liebert® UPS systems is an advantage. Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills. Valid driving license and willingness to travel within Malaysia. Time Travel Needed: 90%
