Robotics Application Engineer (Tokyo)

Join Inbolt, a company redefining industrial robotics with AI-powered vision and adaptive automation. As a Robotics Application Engineer, you will be the technical face of Inbolt for our Japanese customers, managing customer demonstrations, pilot projects, and technological evaluations. You will lead on-site deployment of Inbolt's robotic solutions, train customer teams, and oversee deployed production systems. The ideal candidate will have advanced programming skills in Python, strong project management capabilities, and a background in new technologies and manufacturing.

• Conduct on-site and remote meetings with customers across Japan, acting as their primary technical point of contact and building long-term trust.
• Manage customer demonstrations, pilot projects, and technological evaluations, guiding clients from initial interest through to successful adoption.
• Lead on-site deployment of Inbolt's robotic solutions, and train customer teams to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the systems independently.

### Requirements

• Living in Japan
• Complete fluency in Japanese
• Basic conversational English
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively (valid passport is needed)
• Advanced programming skills in Python
• Strong project management capabilities and hands-on understanding of robotics/computer vision
• Commitment to maintaining high code quality and stability
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Background in new technologies, deep-tech, and manufacturing
• Robot programming experience (FANUC, ABB, UR, etc.)
