Assistant - Publicity Race Secretary

Join our team as a Publicity Race Secretary, where you will conduct on-camera interviews, create feature stories, analyze races, and facilitate media presence at racing events. You will also handle entries, verify eligibility, assist with race draws, and provide exceptional customer service. This position requires availability on weekends, holidays, and nights. Starting compensation is $31.25/hr.

• Conduct on-camera pre-race and post-race interviews with the racing participants, and create and develop feature stories on Delaware racing participants.
• Analyze feature races on-camera for the wagering public on a daily basis, and facilitate media presence at racing events.
• Take entries on horses declaring in to race, verify eligibility of horses with respect to the event entered, and assist with the draw of the races.
