About The Role
Join our team as a Lead Data Engineer, where you will be responsible for the architecture, development, design, and maintenance of complex data pipelines and dashboards. You will partner with senior stakeholders to define reporting needs, drive data-informed strategies, and implement advanced AI and machine learning techniques. Additionally, you will conduct in-depth analysis of large datasets, establish best practices for data integrity and governance, and provide expert guidance to team members. This role requires a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, programming languages, and AI technologies, as well as exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. - Lead the architecture, development, design, and maintenance of complex data pipelines and dashboards. - Partner strategically with senior stakeholders to define complex reporting needs and deliver actionable insights. - Champion and implement advanced AI and machine learning techniques to innovate reporting solutions. - Possess a deep understanding and practical experience with data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, data governance principles, and emerging AI technologies like , Copilot, Large Language Models (LLMs) - Show advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for complex data analysis, automation, and statistical modeling - Have expert-level skills in SQL, Snowflake, DBT, for complex data extraction, manipulation, transformation, and query optimization - Possess outstanding communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences, including senior leadership - Have extensive, hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operationalizing AI solutions and machine learning algorithms to solve challenging business problems - Have a proven ability to lead technical initiatives, operate with a high degree of autonomy, collaborate effectively in a team environment, and mentor junior colleagues - Exhibit exceptional data analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to interpret complex data and translate it into strategic business insights - Demonstrate expert proficiency in DBT, SQL, Alteryx, Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, Python (for data analysis and scripting), Excel (including advanced functions and modeling), and PowerPoint - Demonstrate a strategic mindset with the ability to connect data insights to broader business strategy and outcomes - Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a strong plus - Have 8+ years of progressive experience in data engineering or a similar role, with a proven track record of leading complex reporting and dashboard projects and delivering impactful business intelligence solutions
